With a total pipeline of 25 GWp in solar and 47 GWh in battery storage, of which 14 GW and 12 GWh respectively already have interconnections (as of January 31, 2023). In addition, Recurrent Energy’s services business has 6 GW of projects under operations and maintenance contracts, either operational or contracted projects.

Position Summary

Recurrent Energy a leading innovator in the renewable energy sector, is seeking a dynamic External Communications Manager to oversee our external communication strategies. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping our public image and communicating our commitment to sustainable and renewable energy solutions to a global audience.

Responsibilities

• Media Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with the media. Manage media inquiries and interview requests, and prepare press releases, statements, and articles.
• Public Relations Strategy: Create and implement a comprehensive public relations strategy that enhances the company's reputation and visibility.
• Content Creation: Oversee the production of high-quality external communications materials, including brochures, reports, and digital content.
• Brand Messaging: Ensure that all external communications reflect the company's brand and values.
• Collaborate with Marketing to align messages across all channels.
• Crisis Communications: Lead the company's response to external crises or negative publicity, ensuring quick and effective communication to mitigate impact.
• Event Management: Plan and execute external events, such as press conferences, public events, or participation in trade shows and industry conferences.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and community groups, to promote and advocate for the company's initiatives and achievements in renewable energy.
• Performance Measurement: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of external communications strategies using key metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in external communications or public relations, preferably in the renewable energy sector or a related industry.
• Proven track record of managing media relations and developing effective communication strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.
• Strong leadership and project management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage sensitive or crisis situations diplomatically.
• Proficiency in digital communication tools and social media platforms.
• Flexibility to work in different timeframes (if it's necessary).
• Ability to travel as required.
