Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues affecting operations.
- Support cybersecurity initiatives, helping to identify vulnerabilities and implement improvements based on best practices.
- Work with industrial communication protocols and OT systems to ensure reliable data flow.
- Contribute with scripting and automation to streamline tasks and enhance system performance.
- Document work thoroughly and maintain high attention to detail.
- Travel to our vessels (up to 20% of the time) to support onsite systems and infrastructure.
Requirements
- A Bachelor/Master degree in a relevant field (IT, ICT, Automation, Electromechanical, Electronics) or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2-5 years of professional experience in a relevant role (e.g., network engineering, industrial automation, or cybersecurity in an operational environment).
- Solid understanding of computer networking (routing, switching, firewalls, etc.).
- Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity standards and frameworks (e.g., IEC 62443, NIST).
- Experience with industrial protocols such as OPC DA/UA, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, and similar.
- Familiarity with PLC and SCADA systems
- Scripting/programming skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation and integration tasks.
- Interest in learning how our assets and operations function to better support the technology that drives them.
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills, and the discipline to document your work clearly and thoroughly.
- Bonus If You Have: familiarity with industrial data historians or time-series databases and knowledge of secure remote access solutions in OT environments.
What We Offer
- A collaborative and supportive environment with internal experts across disciplines.
- The opportunity to work on innovative, large-scale marine and offshore projects.
- Career development in a global company that values initiative and expertise.
- A competitive compensation package with benefits tailored to your needs.
