Service Technician

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Service Technician to join our Operations and Maintenance team, overseeing our solar power plants in the Debrecen-Nyíregyháza area.

As we expand our portfolio, these are newly created position offering the chance to contribute to the growth of renewable energy in Hungary.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and resolving technical issues in power photovoltaic power plant and battery energy storage systems installations
• Overseeing maintenance activities, troubleshooting faults, and supporting repair operations
• Collaborating closely with the Technical Manager and Control Operations to complete assigned tasks
• Preparing detailed technical and service reports for internal and client use
• Supervising and supporting construction phases of Photon Energy´s photovoltaic power plants in Hungary
• Working with local service partners, subcontractors, manufacturers, and distribution companies
• Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety practices
• Maintaining quality standards and contractual obligations in all service reporting
• Providing occasional emergency service during national holidays and weekends (scheduled in advance)
• Travelling within Hungary for business purposes when required

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience as ana electrical or in electrotechnical fields
• Valid 22kV substation switching authorisation (substation operator certification)
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Active driver, category B
• Fluent in Hungarian and communicative level of English (B1)
• Strong ability to work independently with excellent organization skills
