We are looking for a colleague, who would join the Data Engineering Team and help us develop Data solutions in a cloud based Microsoft Fabric data platform. Advanced data analytics will be one of our key sources of global competitive advantages. Sales, financial, technical, people, smart metering and a lot more of Ignitis group energy data solutions. You will contribute to the creation of a green and secure energy ecosystem by
- Building and operating reliable, scalable data pipelines using Python, Airflow and Microsoft Fabric
- Integrating data from 50+ sources (on-prem, cloud, APIs) into a unified data platform
- Designing and evolving lakehouse/warehouse patterns, data models, and transformation layers
- Owning data quality, observability, security, and compliance-by-design across pipelines and storage
- Leading technical solution design end-to-end - from requirements to production rollout
- Ensuring data quality, security, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
Required for this position
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering
- Strong SQL and Python skills
- Expertise with data modelling, ETL/ELT and warehouse/lakehouse concepts
- Expertise with building data pipelines using common orchestration tools such as Airflow
- Experience leading and implementing data governance frameworks and data cataloging tools
- Comfortable with mentoring and growing more junior team members
Would be an advantage
- Experience or familiarity with Microsoft Fabric or Microsoft Azure in general
- Experience with dbt

Salary range for this position group
is 4290 to 6440 EUR (before taxes). The final offer depends on experience and competence. Variable part of remuneration may be paid depending on results.
