Vestas Power Solutions (VPS) is where new product ideas are developed, matured, improved, and tested. Within Vestas Power Solutions (VPS), you'll find our department, Control HW Technical Management, as part of Applications, Controls & Electrical.

The Control HW Technical Management comprises a team of proficient and qualified senior functional leads who collaborate across various projects and technologies. This department is an integral part of the Control Hardware organization, responsible for delivering the turbine hardware infrastructure encompassing electronics, cables, sensors, panels, and power supplies. Our primary emphasis is on continuous enhancements and striving to optimize our workflow. The department amalgamates both technology development and project execution aspects.

Responsibilities

• You will work closely with the Senior Functional Leads and the simulation Specialist in the technical management team
• Under the guidance of the Module Design Owner, as well as with your counter parts from adjacent modules and product architects
• As modelling and simulation Engineer, your responsibilities will include
  • Model hardware architecture using model-based systems engineering techniques
  • Implement simulation models for the control hardware
  • Engage in cross-module modelling and simulation communities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's / Master's in Electrical / Electronics / Physics / Similar engineering specialization
• 0-3 years of relevant experience
• Solid theoretical foundation in electrical engineering / electronics engineering / physics, including circuit theory and general dynamical systems
• Interest and within time-domain simulation of electrical systems
• Interest in model-based systems engineering and modelling languages like UML, SysML, etc
• Excellent IT skills with at least one scripting language like Python, MATLAB, JS, or similar in your toolbox
