We are seeking an experienced and driven Production Manager to lead operations in Hall 14 at our Aalborg factory in Denmark. This critical role is part of our leadership team and comes as a replacement for one of our valued Production Managers who is retiring.
Hall 14 specializes in the packing and casting of blades, and you’ll oversee a team of approximately 400 blue-collar employees, led by 1 Senior Group Lead and 8 Group Leads.
As one of four Production Managers at the Aalborg facility, you will collaborate closely with the broader management team to ensure seamless operations, achieve targets, and drive continuous improvement.

As the production manager you will facilitate an environment with focus on integrating environmental health and safety (EHS) initiatives into our operations, ensuring full compliance with regulations and adherence to our said policies, standards, and procedures.
We are looking for a results-oriented leader with a passion for quality, safety, and team development. With a proactive approach, you thrive on taking ownership and driving improvements in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Foster a Safety-First Culture: Promote a strong safety mindset and ensure compliance with environmental health and safety (EHS) standards, policies, and legislation
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire your team with empathy, structure, and trust. Develop high-performing group leads and cultivate a culture of accountability and empowerment
- Operational Excellence: Optimize quality, efficiency, and output by implementing Lean methodologies and Continuous Improvement tools to meet lead time and delivery targets
- Cost Management: Facilitate cost optimization and pursue continuous improvements to meet financial objectives
- Meet Performance Metrics: Achieve or exceed KPIs in safety, quality, delivery, and cost, while ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Production Planning: Ensure delivery of production schedules, budgets, and performance management plans in line with plant targets
What You Need to Make a Difference
We are looking for candidates with a renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.
Furthermore, we are looking for candidates who have:
- Experience: Significant experience in a senior leadership role within manufacturing, engineering, or a related field, ideally in a unionized environment
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage large teams, including both professional and operational staff
- Operational Focus: Structured, hands-on approach to operations, with a strong track record in resource and production planning
- Methodologies: Familiarity with Lean principles and problem-solving tools
- Communication: Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset
- EHS Focus: Commitment to maintaining a safe working culture and complying with health and safety regulations
As we are a production plant you will be expected to be present On-site daily in Aalborg.
We expect you to be fluent in both Danish and English both written and spoken, you will be speaking Danish every day therefore only candidates fluent in Danish will be considered.
