L1 IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a motivated L1 IT Support Specialist to join our team. If you are a tech-savvy person willing to help your colleagues with IT solutions, we’re looking for you!

Key Responsibilities

• Providing technical support to end-users
• Purchasing, installing, and configuring hardware and software. Maintaining software and hardware inventory records
• Troubleshooting technical problems and identifying the root cause of issues
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
• Documenting technical issues and resolutions for future reference
• Collaborating with other IT team members to ensure that systems are functioning properly
• Assisting with testing and implementation of new software and hardware
• Creating and maintaining user accounts and security settings

Qualifications and Experience

• Knowledge of MS Office and MS Windows (desktop and server) operating systems
• Knowledge of network protocols, such as TCP/IP and DNS
• General knowledge of current technologies, willingness to learn new technologies
• Familiarity with computer hardware, software, and peripherals
• Experience in setting up and controlling peripherals
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Independence, diligence, responsibility and systematicity
