The Document Control Administrator will focus on quality systems. In this role, the Document Control Administrator will support the company by maintaining the integrity of the document control system to demonstrate compliance with company standards and certifying bodies.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Developing and maintaining the Document Control System across multiple sites
- Maintaining user profiles within the system
- Advising users on the proper procedures to create, edit and review documents
- Provide support and training for use of the document control system
- Leads internal QMS Audits, facilitates and/or participates in audit at multiple sites
- Assure the quality document system is in alignment with applicable certifying bodies and customer requirements
- Support and collaboration with various teams for effective document development
- Develop training material and provide training on the Quality Management System
- Support new hire orientation and training
- Identify opportunities for improvements
- Undertake other duties and projects as assigned to support the overall Quality Management System
What We’re Looking For
- Technical writing experience
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Technical Writing, Project Management or Business preferred
- 5+ years experience
- Experience with ISO9001, IATF 16949, VDA, APQP and/or PPAP
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong team player who effectively collaborates
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Experience and enthusiasm for training
Other Qualities We’d Love for You to Have
- Lead or Internal Auditor Certification
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or
- Experience in automotive quality systems
- Experience with MasterControl or other Document Control Systems
- Experience with SAP, eMaint, and Velocity
The base pay range for this position is $35 - $43/hr. All positions come with a bonus plan and company stock options. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the position is located.
