As we navigate the complexities of the energy sector, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Design Lead to lead the product design development of our app and home electricity ecosystem. If you're passionate about understanding customer needs, people management, balancing commercial considerations, and driving impactful product design strategies, we want you on our team.

As a Product Design Lead at Greenely, you will be at the heart of our product design strategy, driving the vision, development, and implementation of our innovative solutions. You will lead the product design lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring that our platform consistently meets and exceeds customer expectations while delivering commercial success. Your customer-focused approach will be instrumental in creating products that resonate with users and contribute to Greenely's mission. Your expertise in creating seamless user experiences and visually compelling and efficient designs will play a key role in shaping the future of our products.

What you'll be doing

• Lead product design work end-to-end in the Greenely app as well as in other channels
• Shape and lead a team of product designers.
• Report to the CPO and represent and drive the design agenda within Product and Tech leadership
• Translates brand and product vision into coherent, scalable design systems and experiences across markets and platforms.
• Partner with Product, Tech, and Marketing leadership to shape product strategy.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that enhance user experience.
• Leads creation and governance of a unified design language that scales across markets and products while enabling local relevance.
• Drive innovation by staying up-to-date with design trends and best practices.

What you'll need to succeed

• Solid experience in product design, with a proven track record of leading design efforts from discovery to launch.
• People leadership experience with emphasis on being a people-oriented leader
• Experience creating product design from ground up at multi-product consumer app companies in multi-markets.
• Strong understanding of UX principles and the ability to simplify complex user flows.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions.
• A results-driven mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
