Draughtsman (m/w/d)

Are you fascinated by the world of mega structures, offshore facilities and would you like to be the draughtman of drawings required for the offshore installation?

Your role in the story

As a (Junior) Draughtsman, you will play a key role in bringing our offshore projects to life. You will support the Engineering team by creating detailed technical drawings and 3D models that are essential for the preparation, installation, and removal of fixed and floating platforms. Working closely with experienced engineers and customers in multidisciplinary project teams, you will contribute to innovative and practical solutions for some of the most complex projects in the offshore installation industry. Your input will help ensure the safe and efficient execution of our operations, making you an integral part of our project success.

What you will be working on

• Contributing to the provision of drawings and models for the offshore projects;
• Collaborate with project designers and engineers;
• Work on drawings for transport, lifting and hoisting work and foundations in the sea that are required for offshore platform installations and removals;
• Making drawings that comply with the Drawing Control procedure and department standards;
• Solving and / or providing support with technical challenges in a structural design;
• Creating 3D simulations and installation controls for projects with Heerema Marine Contractors’ ships;
• You work with the tools such as Microstation, Inventor and 3dsMax.

Is this the job for you?

• A Vocational degree preferable with a technical background;
• Be prepared to work temporarily offshore on our ships or abroad;
• A proactive attitude and driven to complete the work well;
• Affinity with work preparation and planning;
• A team player with flexibility;
• You have communication skills in the English language, both spoken and written.
