Your Role

  • Knowing your business environment: You want to push the boundary of cloud battery analytics? Support us in the development of new groundbreaking battery diagnostic algorithms and convince customers of the added value of cloud analytics. Expand the battery industry with exciting ideas and solutions to battery problems.
  • Taking over responsibilities: Take over the role as a Project Manager to ensure the successful completion of your project. Be responsible for the development of new customer-oriented battery diagnostic algorithms and models.
  • Showing your strengths: You will optimize and extend our methods for battery analytics, including state estimation, lifetime prediction, and safety analysis.
  • Team work is dream work: You will cooperate closely with Customer Success and our Product teams to generate valuable data insights and new algorithms for our customers while writing robust, efficient and widely applicable code.
  • Shaping the future: Your work will have a direct impact on the environment and how batteries are being used in the future.

Your Skills

  • Experience: You are a battery expert with several years of experience, and you know everything about battery analytics. You know how to structure problems and come up with a comprehensible solution independently. You worked with battery data and have done battery testing. Ideally, you are up to date regarding the latest research topics and innovations in the world of battery diagnostics, from Machine Learning to complex model-based approaches.
  • Know-how: You know everything and more about Lithium-Ion batteries: Properties of different materials, hardware, testing and established state estimation methods (SoC, SoH, and SoP) as well as different kinds of battery models (electrical, thermal, aging, electrochemical). You are familiar with control units of Battery Systems including the working principles and algorithms of the BMS. Furthermore, you are routined in programming (Python or similar) and preferably experienced with Git.
  • Responsibility: You have managed large projects, being responsible for time, budget and resource management. Ideally, you have worked in the acquisition of public funded or industry projects.
  • Working method: Being a team player and enjoy working in dynamic teams, excited to push the boundaries of battery diagnostic.
  • Personality: Creative, solution-oriented, pragmatic, dedicated and curious.
  • Languages: Strong communication skills in English and German are required.
