Support in various Sustainability tasks and projects for the implementation and progress of Gurit’s Sustainaiblity strategy
Sustainability Intern to support various projects of the sustainability department
- Research and Analysis: Conduct research on industry best practices, emerging trends, and innovative solutions in sustainability. Analyze data related to environmental impact, resource consumption, and carbon footprint to identify areas for improvement.
- Project Support: Assist in the development and implementation of sustainability projects and initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability considerations into various business processes.
- Data Management: Collect, organize, and maintain sustainability-related data and metrics.
- Communication: Be able to understand, communicate and explain technical concepts related to sustainability. Contribute to the creation of sustainability reports and communications materials for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Policy Compliance: Stay informed about relevant environmental and sustainability regulations, ratings and industry standards. Assist in ensuring organizational compliance with sustainability-related policies and standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement in sustainability practices.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
· Ability to gather and analyse data and identify inconsistencies (Understands the data)
· Ability to gather, analyse and summarise non-numerical data (e.g. customer expectations, policies, standards, ratings)
- Presentation & knowledge transfer skills in English; proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel.
- Bachelor related to sustainability
- C1 Advance Level in English
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong passion for sustainability and a commitment to making a positive impact.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
