The Product Customization Specialist is responsible for entering customer specifications for all metering products and other system products as applicable. Interfaces with customers, distributors, agents, deployment teams and managed service programs to establish customer specific requirements and translate them into the manufacturing process. This role is a highly technical role which requires the ability to translate complex information into easy-to-understand information.
Responsibilities
- Completes set up of all order elements specific to the registration, program, and specification necessary to produce the product. 30%
- Works with applicable internal or external customers on configurations that require further clarification for completing the set-up process, catalog number or manufacturing of items for meet previous commitments. 30%
- Interface with Customer Delivery Team on prioritizing new order set up and customer requested changes specific to the manufactured products such as but not limited to programs, utility contacts, custom labels. 15%
- Leads special projects including mass transition, NPI, Obsolescence, Return, brand new customer setups. 10%
- Creates meter setups, design nameplates, carton labels and any other custom labels for customer approval, creates data test files that are compliant with customer specifications. 5%
- Changes product specification as requested, maintain consistency, and properly documented. 5%
- To participate in lean, green belt projects, other necessary task determinated by the Sr Supervisor, Product Customization. 5%
