Job Description
We are looking for a Creative Content Manager to join Vaisala Xweather. If you're looking to own a brand narrative, execute across campaigns, and actually influence how a complex product gets understood in the market, this could be the role for you.
Vaisala is a global leader in measurement instruments and intelligence, helping industries, nations, people, and the planet thrive. From predicting hurricanes to optimizing renewable energy production, our technology is used where it matters most-from data centers, wind farms, and laboratories to airports, the Arctic, and even the surface of Mars.
Vaisala Xweather brings weather intelligence to decision-makers in every weather-sensitive business. By combining local sensor data with advanced AI predictions, we deliver precise and actionable weather insights. Our tools are transforming how the world manages weather, turning what was once seen as uncontrollable chaos into manageable, even advantageous insights.
We work with 5 of the top 10 brands, 40% of the Fortune 100, and high-impact government agencies. Xweather is growing in double digits, and the team of 250 is located mostly in Europe and the US. Join us and become one of the builders, explainers, or translators of weather intelligence.
What's your role?
We're now hiring a creative copywriter who is equally excited about storytelling and experimentation. You'll own the brand voice, campaign messaging, and creative content direction and execution across our marketing, while actively building workflows that use AI as a creative tool.
The ideal candidate can generate concepts and ideas and turn value propositions into memorable campaigns. You can write authentically in the Xweather brand voice, at a native English level, and have a background from a highly technical context. This role is shaped by who you are, and the scope and focus will evolve based on what you bring to it.
Your responsibilities include:
Brand strategy & narrative
- Own Xweather's core narrative framework: why our products matter, how we're differentiated in the weather D/SaaS space, and what we stand for as a brand
- Build messaging pillars and talking points that cascade across campaigns consistently without being repetitive
- Define which stories we tell and why, not just how we write them
- Articulate science, data, and technology in ways that build credibility with expert audiences without alienating the rest
Copywriting & content
- Develop and evolve Xweather's brand voice across campaigns, product messaging, and content
- Become fluent in our product suite and customer segments fast: the problems we solve, who we serve, and what they care about
- Write and execute across the full mix: campaigns, landing pages, email sequences, and social for technical and expert audiences
- Collaborate on creative direction on major campaigns with our brand lead: concepting, testing angles, and aligning messaging with design
AI integration
- Curiosity and a growth mindset to explore, learn, and apply AI tools in your daily work. We expect everyone at Vaisala to actively discover how AI can enhance their work.
- Maintain brand voice and quality standards across AI-assisted output before it ships
- Share what works with the broader team
What will you bring?
- 4-8+ years in copywriting or marketing content, including 2-3 years in a senior or strategic creative role
- Portfolio showing both strong creative execution and strategic thinking: campaigns built on clear positioning, not just well-written copy
- Experience at B2B tech companies explaining complex or technical products to multiple expert audiences
- Experience in fast-growth or scrappy teams where you wore multiple hats
- Track record of building messaging frameworks, not just individual pieces
- Self-directed, collaborative, and comfortable working across design, product, and sales
- Genuine enthusiasm for AI as an enabling tool and high standards for what ships
- Written native-level English is non-negotiable
Extra bonus point from a background in weather, climate, data, or B2B intelligence.
Why join us?
You will join a fast-moving team that encourages experimentation, ownership, and letting data lead decisions. You bring a creativity-first mindset and use modern tools to bring those ideas to life. Strong opinions about copy and creative direction are welcome, and we will challenge you in return. If you see inefficiency, you will be trusted to fix it, not forced to work around it.
Within your first six months, you will have shipped impactful campaign copy and technical content that genuinely reflects Xweather's voice, earned the trust of stakeholders on brand and creative decisions, and built a clear understanding of our portfolio so you can confidently produce technical marketing content. You will also have identified and implemented AI-powered workflows that measurably speed up your work without sacrificing quality, and you will be the person who proactively brings smart content ideas to the table.
