Nordic Solar A/S is looking for a Manager to be a driving force in the green transition, and within the M&A team focusing on the execution of our divestment strategy, which is an integral part of Nordic Solar’s overall strategy. With significant growth plans, you’ll thrive in a maturing renewable energy business with ample room to shape your own development.

As a Manager at Nordic Solar, you will be an integral part of the Corporate Finance & Development team which also includes Project Development, Structured and Project Finance and Energy Storage. You will alongside your colleagues lead sell-side M&A processes, guiding our company through divestment transactions that is a key element in the overall Nordic Solar strategy. Your primary focus is to leverage your expertise to initiate, negotiate, and structure sales processes on our solar parks. This role offers a unique chance to provide valuable advice, leaving your mark on the continuous growth in Nordic Solar.

Taking on the position, your main responsibilities are:

  • Lead sell-side M&A processes, from initial strategy development to deal execution.
  • Conduct thorough financial analyses, market research, and valuation assessments.
  • Work in-depth with our financial model as part of sell-side processes
  • Collaborate with internal teams to prepare marketing materials and due diligence documentation.
  • Interface with potential buyers, negotiate deal terms, and drive transactions to successful closure.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external advisors, legal teams, and other stakeholders.
  • From time to time also participate in buy-side M&A deals in our project development business
  • Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions that may impact sell-side opportunities.
  • Various ad-hoc tasks.

You will report directly to the Head of M&A, Yassine Chahi. The role is based in the office in Hellerup (Copenhagen).

Numerically well-founded and self-motivated Manager

Taking on the role as Manager, you are expected to possess a relevant master’s degree representing a high academic standard. In addition, you bring a minimum of three years of experience doing M&A transactions, preferably from the energy sector. Additionally, you possess a strong numerical aptitude, including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. You have also demonstrated success in managing and closing M&A transactions. You communicate professionally in written and spoken English and have a strong commercial understanding of business operations as well as proven contractual skills.
