A Snapshot of Your Day

Omnivise T3000 is one of the leading control systems in the energy market. As Siemens Energy own control system it plays an important role in the global energy transition. Product Management (PM) is the function responsible for defining desirable, viable, feasible, and sustainable solutions that meet customer needs and supporting development across the product life cycle. Your main tasks as PM T3000 Communication within the control system Omnivise T3000 in a multinational team, is being responsible for Omnivise T3000 with the ability to design the control system that will support the energy transition by exploring and gathering qualitative and quantitative insights about market dynamics, user preferences and customer requirements. These insights define both business strategy and technical strategy and produce the feature backlog.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Define the Cyber Security product and innovation strategy for Omnivise T3000, aligning with market needs and the overall portfolio vision
  • Organize and manage support from offshore development locations, ensuring efficient and effective collaboration
  • Represent and advocate for customer and stakeholder requirements, ensuring their integration into the product roadmap, commercialization plan, including communication for marketing and sales rollout
  • Manage and prioritize multiple security requirements while aligning them with the defined development process, quality attributes (usability, security, safety, etc.), and adhering to relevant regulations and legal aspects
  • Work effectively with other Product Managers and Product Owners across agile teams to facilitate seamless development, delivery, and compliance with cyber security standard methodologies

What You Bring

  • B.Eng. / Master’s degree in information technology or electronic technology or comparable
  • Understanding of the energy market and the related implications for control systems as well as deep understanding of modern control systems like Omnivise T3000
  • Solid understanding of communication and network functions including multiple protocols (OPC, IEC61850, IEC60870, Modbus etc.) and LAN components (network switches, routers etc.) are a basic need
  • Experience in information security, data protection and related regulations are additional necessary
  • Proven track record in Product Management or associated fields, Jira knowledge is a benefit as well experience with agile working methods like Scrum, SAFe or others
  • Communication and leadership skills to align with multinational partners and to plan and coordinate multiple team activities as well as dedication and motivation to take ownership of work

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.
