If you are an experienced technical product management professional who is passionate about inspiring change, this role is made for you. As our Technical Product Manager for software-defined PAC, you are responsible for driving the development and roll-out of centralized, software-defined Protection, Automation and Control products/solutions for HV substations. No day is like the other as you make use of your technical expertise, eye for business, and strategic vision to ensure that the digital products meet both customer needs and business goals. You will guide a technical development team and work with other product managers and business developers to design, create and commercialize digital products and solutions to modernize and digitalize grid operations. How You’ll Make an Impact

  • As technical product manager for software-defined PAC you play a central role in driving Grid Technologies’ vision of the grid of the future based on connectivity, data, and intelligence.
  • Based on the product vision, understanding of customer needs and technological evolvement you elicit, analyze, and prioritize technical requirements with the architects and product development teams, and drive implementation
  • You create a conducive and collaborative environment through effective leadership, ensuring everyone in the development team has clear understanding of the requirements and priorities and is results driven
  • You will communicate product updates, progress, and timelines effectively to stakeholders and support the Sales and Business Development organizations with developing customers and partners.

What You Bring

  • Long term professional experience von Protection, Automation and Control products/solutions
  • Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience
  • Experience in the areas of Protection and Control for HV grids design and engineering, including knowledge of IEC 61850 standard
  • Experience and successes in the areas of innovative portfolio management, product management and/or R&D projects management for OT systems and software
  • You are thrilled by new technologies and business models; you have profound understanding of both the energy industry and digitalization, and you keep an eye on the latest developments in this space.
  • International experience working with different cultures and can communicate with international team members and customers in fluent business English
