As part of the company, you will report hierarchically to the Head of the Design Office as a Studies Engineer. You will work closely with project managers and respond to technical expertise needs at different stages of development, as well as those of field prospecting teams.

Your main areas of activity and intervention are primarily solar, hybrid projects with storage, and wind. The position is based in Montpellier.

Main Tasks

The main missions of the position are as follows:

During the development phase (prospecting or pre-construction) and/or tenders, for several projects simultaneously:

• Conduct preliminary project studies (site access, preliminary electrical design, yield estimation);
• Conduct project sizing and technical design studies, taking into account technical and environmental constraints;
• Create all necessary plans for obtaining administrative authorizations and for construction (solar and wind);
• Optimize the layout of photovoltaic plants as well as the choice of components;
• Calculate yield and associated uncertainties.

During the tender phase:

• Provide technical support during responses to project calls and tenders:
• Analyze the technical aspect of the specifications;
• Prepare the technical part of the response file;
• Interact with technical stakeholders.

During the construction phase:

• Provide technical support to Project Managers and Implementation teams.

Skills Required

• A general engineering degree with an energy focus or a Bac +5 with specialized training in CAD (civil engineering, electrical engineering) is required;
• You have prior experience in a similar role or environment;
• You have solid knowledge of Autocad software;
• You are proficient with PVSYST, Excel (VBA), and knowledge of PVCase is a plus;
• Knowledge of Python coding is appreciated;
• An operational level of English is desired.
