About the job

The (medior) Legal counsel shall, together with the international Legal team ensure that the company is well balanced in its legal responsibilities and liabilities. Your support is mainly needed by the department of Client Succes and Client Development in legal and/or regulatory questions. Overall the (medior) Legal counsel ensures that the company and its affiliates remain in good legal standing and supports clients all over the world through connecting technical and legal aspects together.

The Position and Responsebilities:

• Provide legal advice and support to both internal departments, as well as clients on a wide range of issues, including but not limited to tenders, contractual negotiations, regulatory compliance, IP, employment law, and commercial transactions.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements and other legal documents to protect the interest of the Company and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with external legal counsel as needed for example on complex or extra jurisdictional matters.
• Identify, analyze, and mitigate legal risks both on behalf of clients, as well as the Company.
• Manage contract lifecycle both on behalf of clients as well as on behalf of the company.
• Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations that may affect the company's or client’s operations and advise on necessary actions.
• Keeping IX’ entities in good legal standing.

About you

• Masters of Law, preferably in private law, business law or corporate law.
• 3+ year of work experience from a similar role in the wind, Construction or related industry.
• Analytical, critical, self-driven, curious, open-mind and internationally oriented.
• Nice to have: affinity with contract management.
• Travel is not mandatory, opportunities will arise and are good for development.
• Proficient in English & Dutch (and Mandarin is a big plus).
• Basic MS Office.
