As the Head of Stack Development at SE TI SES PRM, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our green hydrogen technology. You will lead a team of talented engineers and researchers to design, develop, and optimize hydrogen stack components, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and scalability. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive innovation in the renewable energy sector and contribute to a sustainable future.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Develop and complete the strategic roadmap for stack development in alignment with organizational goals and market trends
  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence
  • Oversee the design, optimization, and testing of hydrogen stack components, including membranes, catalysts, and electrodes, to enhance performance and durability
  • Alignment with mechanical production processes in our factory in Berlin
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry developments to find opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure seamless integration of stack components into final hydrogen solutions
  • Establish thorough quality standards and protocols to ensure the reliability and safety
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of stack development processes, outcomes, and lessons learned, and provide regular progress reports to senior management

What You Bring

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in hydrogen technology development, ideally with leadership experience being responsible for stack development projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field; advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) preferred
  • Deep understanding of hydrogen stack design, materials, and manufacturing processes, with a track record of successful development and optimization
  • Shown ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, drive innovation, and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, being able to translate market insights into actionable plans and initiatives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including proficiency in English language for communication and presentations
