ABOUT US
We are a B2B energy and renewables consultancy and brokerage company. Our team of experienced Analysts, Engineers research and study our customers’ energy needs and negotiate with energy suppliers to derive optimal cost-saving and energy-usage contracts. We provide energy consultancy services for businesses, and we broker and trade environmental commodities in Renewable Energy Certificates (REC) and Carbon Credits. We write and sell award winning software solutions for business and industry.
Functional Scope of the Environmental Commodities Analyst
You will be part of the Energy Services, Energy Markets (ESEM) - Renewable Commodities group providing our customers with solutions for REC’s and Carbon Credits. This assists them to become Carbon Neutral and reach Net Zero.
Your role will be to help deliver the reports and proposals to deliver to our customers specifications. You will be working with a group of Energy Analysts who can provide training and supervision.
Role Skills and Experience
- A Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Science, Business Administration or Finance or equivalent.
- Skills and experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications
- Possess advanced literacy and numeracy skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Have an eye for detail and accuracy and task orientation
- Ability to effectively operate as part of a multi-skilled team
- Demonstrated time management skills
- Flexibility in responding to changing demand
- Excellent interpersonal skills, e.g. verbal and written communication
