Pine Gate Renewables is seeking an Accounts Payable Processor that is excited about working in a dynamic environment in the renewable energy industry. The AP Processor will report to the Accounting Manager and will be responsible for ensuring that invoices are accurately coded and paid. The ideal candidate is a self-starter possessing solid communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and a high degree of data entry accuracy.

What You’ll Do

• Responsible for all assigned vendor related invoice processing.
• Review invoices to prevent duplicate payments, ensure appropriate supporting documentation is provided, and validate the correct coding (account, department, etc.) is applied.
• Input invoices into various procurement and accounting software platforms for payment approval and processing.
• Create and process payments ensuring the correct amount is paid.
• Investigate, resolve, and respond to problems associated with processing invoices and purchase orders.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives of the Accounting Department, including further automation of accounting functions.
• Assist in other areas of the Accounting Department as needed.
• Perform other responsibilities as needed.

Must Haves

• Two years’ experience with full cycle accounts payable, including 3-way matching.
• Two years’ experience in multi-EIN complex organizational structure environment.
• Experience in solar, construction, and/or real estate industries preferred.
• Experience with Sage Intacct, Oracle Fusion, or Pairsoft preferred.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and keen attention to details.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment, prioritize job duties, and meet assigned deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate concerns/issues/status updates and develop strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, collaboration, and grit effectively driving impactful outcomes.
• Proficient at Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint.

Work Environment

• Position works in an office/remote office environment.
• May require up to 5% travel.
