Job Description

Given the growth of the organization, we are looking for a new director to lead the PPA team and the Corporate Consultancy team based on processes, strategy and people management. In this role you will be part of the MT and report to the Board of Energy.

About the role

In this role you will be the lead of the PPA team (3FTE: 2 Sales Traders and 1 Associate Directors) and the Corporate Consultancy desk (3FTE: 2 Sales Traders and 1 Associate Directors). In this role, you will focus on the development of our products, the policies and processes we have in place, and of course the development of the employees themselves. In addition, you set KPIs and monitor them throughout the year. As Director you are responsible for the results of these two desks and services. How you achieve these results is up to you!

What you will be doing

• Developing and executing the strategy for the two desks in line with the AFS Energy strategy to achieve short and long-term targets. Participate in business strategy and leadership-relevant internal discussions particularly in the region;
• Understand, advocate and support the Associate Directors with their teams, markets, developments, and implementations;
• Represent AFS Energy at sectional events, speaking engagements, and key stakeholder engagements and lead the development of new business opportunities;
• You drive market share growth through strategic initiatives;
• Nurture and develop lasting client connections through regular in-person meetings and activities to foster both professional and personal relationships;
• Staying up to date with regulatory shifts and legislative principles in the PPA and Corporate Consultancy field;
• Monitors and discusses KPIs with his/her team members (evaluation responsibility for the Associate Directors).

Job requirements

• At least 4+ years of experience within the renewable energy sector. This is non-negotiable;
• Fluently English. Any other language is a plus;
• Onsite available at the office;
• In-depth professional knowledge of your product, service, and market is a big plus;
• An inspiring leader with experience in coaching, people development and empowerment;
• Deep understanding of environmental sustainability challenges and specific consultancy experience in the relevant areas of the practice;
• Driven, responsible and entrepreneurial;
• Enthusiastic, communicative, and socially skilled;
• Possesses a strategic mindset and sharp decision-making abilities.
