People Operation Specialist (m/w/d)

We are looking for a brilliant People Operation Specialist with a pleasant personality who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You’ll help us shape key areas such as; to identify and mitigate legal and regulatory risks, managing payroll programs and drafting the policy that align with global initiatives. What you will do

• Work closely with the leadership team, local employees, and global people operation teams to contribute to identify local employment, labour relations, and compliance risks
• Create and revise company policies ensuring they align with our culture, business goals and comply with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with our external partners across People Ops to make sure we're working efficiently and fast whilst keeping our standards high
• Be the APAC ambassador in the global engagement working group and support on rolling out initiatives locally
• Identifying improvement opportunities and taking charge of process improvement projects - making things easier, more streamlined and more efficient
• Ensure we are constantly reviewing and adapting to business needs
• Responsible for drafting and sending employment contracts to successful candidates
• Create employee profiles on our HRIS (Hibob) in a timely manner and uphold our people data accuracy for new hires
• Potential to expand remit to rest of APAC

• A mindset geared toward continuous improvement, and you’re always thinking creatively to find new solutions.
• Passionate about enhancing the experience of those around you.
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy the challenges it brings.
• Native level of Japanese, fluency in English

Preferred skills

• People Operation or HRBP experience with expertise in development initiatives, change management and employee relations
• Proven track record in overseeing and executing HR operational initiatives, which involve system applications, risk management and mitigation, as well as facilitating change management, business preparedness, communication strategies, and support training programs where necessary
• Experience with employment laws, labour relations and compliance in Japan
