Job Description

Our modern Finance function is at the core of our business, helping to form the major decisions that impact our projects and activities, and funding the world’s transition to a greener energy future. Our Finance employees are highly valued business partners with strategic and operational focus and are the catalyst for driving our business transformation.

As a Global Accounting Process Manager, you’ll

• Own, design, implement and govern Accounting Processes as well as accounting guidelines globally.
• Lead initiatives and projects relating to Accounting Process improvements (change management)
• Support Global Business Services Finance and segment finance function in the Group with regards to Accounting and Financial Reporting processes and monthly reportings
• Support the organic growth and participate in finance integrations of newly acquired companies
• Act as an Accounting process owner and participate in cross department projects

Qualifications

We look for an experienced Global Accounting Process Manager profile with the essential skills to future-proof our business and renewable energy solutions. That includes:

• Relevant experience in accountancy and financial reporting from either multinational companies, auditing firms or consultancy. Experience from the energy industry is a plus.
• University degree in finance, accounting, business administration or similar
• Good knowledge of IFRS and good understanding of different concepts within local and tax GAAPs.
• Good knowledge of SAP, especially FI/CO
• Good understanding of various business processes as well as consolidation, and of how digitalization can drive business processes and empower people
• Good communication and cooperation skills in English. Norwegian language skills would be an advantage.
• Goal-oriented with good leadership and management skills, and the ability to drive and deliver projects and improvement initiatives. Project management experience would be an advantage.
