Grid Integration Coordinator

Job Description

Luminus aims to remain the leader in onshore wind generation by improving its knowledge, processes, and strategy for integrating renewable projects into the grid. Challenges such as grid congestion and flexible connections are causing delays and increased costs, impacting the profitability of wind projects. To address this, Luminus seeks a coordinator with technical expertise in grid connection, knowledge of regulatory frameworks, and the ability to manage stakeholders, including DGO/TSO and regulators, while offering clear guidance to the Wind management and team.

Your Daily Job

• Oversee the grid connection process and work with the Regulatory and Optimization Department to stay updated on grid systems, methods, and regulations.
• Address TSO/DGO grid issues, including policies, market rules, and transmission system operations.
• Identify risks and opportunities for wind projects related to grid structures and mechanisms.
• Collaborate with the Wind Development team to align project specifications and grid connection requests.
• Review permit applications and support the development of hybrid projects and services.
• Monitor grid capacity and ensure sustainability until final investment decisions and payments.
• Align grid adjustment plans of DGO/TSO with the development portfolio.
• Analyze grid connection proposals for potential impacts on projects, such as cost, timing, and connection type.
• Provide risk assessments and precise data for each grid contract to the Investment and Contract Manager.
• Follow up on construction projects to maintain planning and connection costs.
• Support Wind Asset Management in addressing grid curtailment issues and other grid-related concerns.
• Prepare monthly reports on grid development, regulation, and operations for the Wind Program Manager.
• Report issues/risks and suggest mitigation strategies.
• Advise Wind Management on complex grid connection projects.
• Lead negotiations with DGO/TSO for grid connections.

Your Profile

• You possess a university education or its equivalent.
• You have a minimum of five years of professional experience, preferably in the grid sector.
• Your expertise includes proven knowledge of TSO/DGO grid structures, market rules, and regulatory requirements. You are knowe about the grid connection technical aspects.
• Your knowledge of existing regulatory context for the grid is a plus.
• You have very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Teams, and SharePoint.
• You are fluent in both FL and FR.
• You are business-oriented.
• You have excellent communication skills and a knack for delivering compelling presentations.
• You are a natural networker and team player .
