We are now looking for a Finance Assistant at Hitachi Energy, Grid Integration Service business in Vaasa, Finland. You will be a key resource and support for the Service Order delivery process. This exciting opportunity will be for someone that has a passion for finance and has a high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Drives order booking, invoicing and project cash flow and seeks for optimization. Is responsible for the correctness of respective order balance sheet and income statement items as well as for cash collection together with the Service Delivery Managers.
• Improving the quality of internal and external financial data to drive business decision making and performance.
• Executes accounting analyses and reports as assigned by the Business Controller.
• Ensures the production of reports, statement of accounts, and reconciliations in a timely manner.
• Identify, challenge, and proactively satisfy internal and external customer requirements to provide information, interpretation and insight to the business to promote effective delivery of the Service Business.
• Continuously review business practices to make recommendations for changes which will enhance cost efficiency.
• Support the Business Controller in all areas of finance control and governance.

Background

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Business Administration or other Finance related field.
• Good Excel skills Intermediate or above.
• Self-motivated.
• High attention to detail.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Finnish.
• Good communication skills.
• Flexible approach to working hours during peak reporting timelines.
