We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Renewables Poland Office of the Ignitis Renewables team, where you’ll be leading the technical support to teams developing and delivering utility-scale wind projects across the Baltic countries and Poland. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

• Preparing technical requirements and specifications for the WTG tendering procedures;
• Reviewing the technical documentation produced from WTG supplier and identifying any technical issues or risks;
• Supporting wind farm layout design, energy yield and design optimization;
• Contributing to due diligence of potential wind farm site acquisitions;
• Supporting wind turbine construction, commissioning and performance testing;
• Following renewable energy (wind) industry trends/innovations and applying the knowledge in the daily activity.

Required for this position

• Degree qualified in Engineering (mechanical/electrical/mechatronics);
• 5+ years of experience in consultancy, contracting or design within the wind sector;
• Demonstrated track record of providing engineering and technical advice on wind energy projects from development phase through to operations either on the owner side or as a consultant to the owner;
• Deep knowledge of the technical aspects of turbine supply agreements;
• Familiarity with the various EU requirements, legislation and development routes for wind projects;
• Strong technical report writing skills;
• Good knowledge of English language.
