KrakenFlex

The energy industry is undergoing the largest transformation since industrialisation at an unprecedented rate of change and we are positioning ourselves to be at the heart of that change.

Our aim is to be the leading global provider of solutions that enable customers to release £30bn of value per annum from distributed energy resources (DERs). We have already attained a market leading position and KrakenFlex is a recognised thought leader and innovator in the industry. Our efforts have not gone unnoticed and we are pleased to announce that we now have the full support and backing of Octopus Energy, an award-winning UK energy supplier who share our passion and values.

  • In collaboration with the development team, write user stories, high level user journey and business process flow charts and conduct ongoing user acceptance testing, product quality sign-off, and product documentation.
  • Drive the delivery of the roadmap by supporting the work of the development team using agile tooling, running ceremonies (retrospective, planning, discovery, demos…) and acting as facilitator with other teams to remove dependencies or clarify issues.
  • Coordinate across other regional or global product teams to proactively support scalability of the product globally and support a customer-centric approach
  • Plan, track and proactively manage strategic and customer projects driving adoption of our platform and operational efficiency
  • Use analytics data and first-hand research to understand user behaviors and inform product and design improvements.
  • Write newsletter and blog updates to keep customers informed of new features being developed/launched

What you'll need

  • Experience in agile software product management; from inception, requirement gathering, and prioritization through to launch.
  • Experience in managing an agile roadmap with multiple stakeholders, and championing cross-functional team work to identify the best solutions and best delivery path.
  • Outstanding facilitation skills & being comfortable managing client or product workshops, from discovery to detailed requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills showing the ability to summarize complex problems and recommend concise plans of action, translating for non-technical audiences
  • Experience of working within an Energy Trading environment and/or US energy markets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
  • Experience in UX & UI design is desirable.
