Parkwind develops, finances, and operates offshore wind farms. Since 2023 Parkwind has been wholly owned by JERA, the Japanese energy group that is one of the world’s largest electricity producers. It is now part of JERA Nex, JERA’s renewable energy subsidiary.

In light of further international expansion of its business, Parkwind is looking for an IT Support Officer.

Your role

• Provide 1st line technical assistance to end users in a Microsoft Office 365 Cloud/Windows environment.
• Install, support, upgrade and troubleshoot hardware and software systems,
• Conduct remote troubleshooting,
• Record technical issues and solutions in service desk system
• Escalate unresolved issues to the next line of support.
• Create user manuals and work instructions and improve IT processes.
• Organize user training and define ways to prevent repetitive problems or questions.
• Conduct IT satisfaction surveys and improve service based on feedback.
• Pro-active monitor of IT systems (health, speed, consistency, and security)

Job Requirements

What we expect:

• A first professional experience in a similar role and/or relevant degree.
• All round IT knowledge, especially with Microsoft Office 365 cloud.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Willingness to regularly visit our Coastal Office in Oostende.
• Good interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for supporting users.
• Strong communication skills to understand users needs, clarifying issues, crate consensus on timing and agree on solutions.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on implementing sustainable solutions.
• Ability to set, maintain and improve norms and standards.
• Real team player with honest and open communication, flexibility, a helpful attitude, and discretion.
• Ability to work pro-actively, independently.
• Eager to learn and stay updated on IT, business trends and evolutions.
