We are looking for you as an addition to our product & tech team in Berlin, Hamburg, Munich or remote. 1KOMMA5° is building Germany's largest one-stop-shop for sale, installation and services related to solar, heat pumps, electricity and charging infrastructure. Your mission
As a member of 1KOMMA5°'s Product Managementteam, you play a pivotal role in a visionary and dynamic group committed to revolutionizing the global energy sector. Our team comprises distinct specialists, each wielding unique skills to navigate the frontiers of innovation. Our mission is to identify and deliver compelling value propositions in every market we operate in, prototype and test groundbreaking products, and master the art of product communication both internally and externally.

Your profile
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a product management role and at least 3 years of hands-on experience working with energy management systems, smart home technologies, or related fields including product lifecycle management, including product planning, development, launch, and post-launch optimization within the HEMS or energy industry.
Strategic Vision: Ability to formulate and communicate a strategic vision for the product, aligning it with the broader goals of the company and the evolving landscape of the energy sector.
Market Insight/Analysis: In-depth knowledge of the HEMS and energy market including regulatory trends, emerging technologies, and customer needs. Strong analytical skills and experience in conducting thorough market analyses, identifying potential business opportunities, and making informed decisions regarding product development and market entry strategies in the HEMS and energy sector.
Market Positioning: The ability to develop and execute comprehensive market positioning strategies for energy solutions, considering the unique value propositions and competitive advantages within the dynamic energy sector.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in product development environments. A history of successful collaboration with engineering, marketing, and customer support teams is essential.
Financial Acumen: Solid financial understanding to develop business cases, assess investment opportunities, and ensure that business decisions align with profitability goals in the context of the energy sector.
Communication: Effective communication skills in German and English.
Background: A background in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related discipline is preferred but not required.
