Pine Gate Renewables is looking for a Sr IT Support Specialist who is responsible for providing advanced support for IT infrastructure and end-user devices. This role will troubleshoot complex issues, resolve incidents, and implement solutions to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems. What You’ll Do

• Provide advanced technical support for IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents, escalating issues as needed.
• Implement solutions to improve the performance, reliability, and security of IT systems.
• Monitor IT systems and proactively identify and address potential issues.
• Provide training and guidance to junior IT support staff.
• Provide excellent user experience through the ticketing queue.
• Solve complex technical issues for IT infrastructure and end-user devices.
• Support Microsoft environments and services.

Must-Haves

• 3 or more years’ experience in IT support preferred.
• Proven experience providing high-quality technical support and customer service to end-users in various environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
• Experience managing and responding to technical incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing downtime.
• Expertise in diagnosing and repairing hardware malfunctions, including workstations, laptops, printers, and other equipment.
• Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues, ensuring smooth functioning of software and minimizing disruptions to business processes.

Education and Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field preferred.

Work Environment

• Preferred: Onsite in Asheville, NC; some remote work.
