What you will do

  • You will prepare and perform energy calculations and simulations in all project phases, from tender to commissioning, in close collaboration with energy- and process discipline lead and the rest of the engineering team.
  • You will contribute to design- and optimization of process layout and performance of the thermal battery system, with a keen eye for operations and maintenance considerations.
  • You will analyze results from plants in operation with the aim to optimize the performance of future plants.
  • You will develop Energy & Process documents in all project phases.
  • You will interact with clients and other external companies, including collaboration with partners, worldwide.

Your skills and experiences

  • You have a M.Sc or higher from university/college in energy engineering, process engineering or related fields. A less formal education may be compensated for with documented relevant experience.
  • You have a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as an energy engineer or process engineer.
  • Experience in O&M of industrial heating systems or similar is desirable.
  • Experience in MATLAB and/or CFD simulations is desirable.
  • You are practical with a good understanding of industrial processes.
  • You are structured and analytical and can offer good collaboration skills & the ability to work in teams.
  • You have good presentation skills in English, both written and oral.
