Omnidian is building a more sustainable future for the planet through our passionate teams, our innovative technology, and by creating an amazing customer experience.

We are headquartered in the US and began our Australia team in 2022, with exciting growth since then.

As an Operations Associate at Omnidian, you'll have the opportunity to wear many hats, working closely with a small, dynamic team to build processes and help shape the future of our operations. This isn’t just a role for someone who wants to follow a script—you’ll use your tools, judgment, and expertise to solve real-world problems and ensure a seamless experience for customers and technicians alike.

In this role, you’ll not only dive deep into diagnosing solar system performance issues but also help document processes, train others, and build the foundational assets of our business. If you're passionate about renewable energy, eager to learn a little bit of everything, and excited about creating scalable systems, this is the perfect role for you.

While we have a preference for those based in Western or Eastern Australia, location is flexible for the right person (but must be in Australia).

What You'll Do

    • Take ownership of service tickets in HubSpot and Airtable, ensuring every issue is resolved swiftly and accurately.
    • Collaborate with field service partners to meet resolution timelines and maintain high-quality service standards.
    • Approve payments to field service partners, manage warranty claims, and handle system owner payments—all with precision and accountability.
  • System Monitoring and Technical Expertise (30%)
    • Proactively monitor solar systems, triaging alerts and diagnosing performance issues with confidence and precision.
    • Use Omnidian’s tools and procedures to develop creative resolution paths for system problems.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on one or more solar products, providing trusted guidance to homeowners and technicians.
    • Offer remote technical support to resolve customer issues, while fielding escalations from technicians during site visits.
  • Continuous Improvement and Collaboration (10%)
    • Continuously evaluate and refine procedures to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
    • Partner with internal teammates and external vendors to identify and implement opportunities for improvement.
    • Bring fresh ideas to optimize workflows and elevate the overall customer experience.
