Job Description
RINA is currently recruiting for a SUSTAINABILITY PROJECT MANAGER to join its office in Milano or Genova, Italy within the ESG & Sustainability Division.
The Resource Efficiency and Management Unit of RINA is seeking a highly motivated person to support the team in the project management of sustainability, especially agribusiness and biofuels production projects and preparation or related proposals. Working in our Milan Office and at Clients facilities, the successful candidate shall have strong interest in agronomy, bioenergy, energy transition, decarbonization, circular and green economy topics, good communications skills and a strong teamwork attitude.
Key Accountabilities
- Support the team in general management of the projects meeting client’s requests, to understand Clients’ needs and pass the requests to the technical team in an efficient way;
- Participate in the Team activities in the framework of agro-energy projects for the sustainable production of biofuels, contributing to the coordination of the entire supply chain, from the point of origin of the agri-feedstock to the obligated party, for the compliance with the sustainability principles;
- Support in elaboration and revision of technical reports for various clients, related to sustainable agriculture and sustainable fuels;
- Coordination of large teams of experts (both RINA colleagues and freelance consultants). Interaction with local consultants in the countries of operations and assure the whole project standard of quality;
- Identify and develop new project opportunities, prepare effective technical proposals and cost estimates.
Experience and Requirements
- University Degree (preferably engineering or economy);
- Not less than 4 years of experience is requested;
- Passion and interest in learning and in giving contribution in the energy transition field;
- Excellent communication skills in English both oral and written, other languages will be considered as a plus;
- Ability to write well structured, concise and well-reasoned reports, proposals and documents;
- Availability for short business trips within and outside EU;
- Very good knowledge of the Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, Power Point;
- Excellent communication skills, team player;
- Experience in project management is required.

Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering General or Economics.
