Job Description
All Energy Contracting (AEC) is a leading construction contractor specialising in the energy and renewable energy sector, including solar, wind, storage, and hybrid facilities. Our core services comprise civil works, trenching, cable installation, electrical and mechanical installations, terminations, testing, commissioning (DC, LV, HV), operations support and maintenance expertise. We're looking for Local talented professionals to express their interest in our upcoming roles in Brendale Queensland!
As a Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting in various tasks across different work areas. This role requires, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. We are looking for someone who is reliable, adaptable, and possesses a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup and cleanup of work areas, ensuring a safe and organized environment.
- Perform manual tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials or equipment.
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery as required.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas, including proper disposal of waste materials.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of goods or materials as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and machinery operation.
- Ability to adapt to different work environments and industries.
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
