We're looking for a Business Account Manager to manage our power purchase agreements (PPAs) clients accounts. This role sits in our Business Services function, who are responsible for the growth of business customers through development and delivery of services. The function develops commercial customer propositions in response to customer feedback and understanding of Good Energy’s business customers. It is responsible for providing account management and excellent customer service to grow and retain existing customers, and for procuring and managing power purchase agreements (PPAs) with commercial generators in support of Good Energy’s commitment to 100% renewable energy.

You’ll be responsible for servicing the needs of over 1600 renewable electricity generators. This is a role with a high level of customer contact, but also requires coordination of internal resources to ensure service delivery objectives are met. This role is part of the wider Account Management and Sales Support team, reporting to the Origination Team Manager.

You’ll be responsible for managing the relationships with our key accounts and delivering excellent customer service to maximise the possibility of retaining them at the time of the next renewal. You’ll have end to end responsibility for resolving clients’ queries and issues on their accounts and ensuring that all types of account activity is completed effectively, such as onboarding, meter reading, payment processing and meter verifications.

What you'll need to succeed

We’re looking for a self-starter who has a passion for our purpose. A confident communicator, with administration experience and fully confident using Excel and having a good eye for detail. You’ll be committed to delivering excellent customer service by exceeding our customers’ expectations and comfortable in taking ownership to resolve queries.

You’ll have experience of working in a business-to-business environment, with proven experience of building relationships. Essentials:

  • Experience within an Account Management role
  • Ability to work under own initiative
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Strong customer focus
  • Sound communicator both verbally and written
  • Organised and proactive approach, with impeccable attention to detail
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a can-do attitude and solid problem-solving skills Desirables:
  • Previous experience of Power Purchase Agreements
