Applied Solar Technologies - Assistant Manager - Finance

The Assistant Manager (AM) in Finance plays a crucial role in supporting the finance team and ensuring the smooth operation of financial activities within the organization. This position involves assisting in financial planning, analysis, reporting, and various financial management tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field and qualifies CA Inter/CFA/CMA.
• Proven experience in financial analysis and financial management, preferably in a supervisory or assistant management role.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., MS office, tally and other TDS/Income tax software).
• Proficient in MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and Ind-AS.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial work.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Familiarity with industry-specific financial trends and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to provide insights into the company's financial performance, trends, and potential areas for improvement.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts. Monitor actual financial performance against budgets and provide explanations for variances.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other relevant financial data. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Financial Planning: Collaborate with senior finance staff to develop and implement financial strategies and policies.
• Compliance and Regulations: Stay informed about financial regulations and ensure compliance with relevant financial laws and regulations.
• Cost Control: Identify cost-saving opportunities and assist in cost control measures.
• Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring that all financial documents and records are readily available and accurate.
• Team Support: Provide guidance and support to junior finance team members. Assist in their training and development.
