You will be the central person for all EHS related matters across several NEME countries, namely Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland & Lithuania. During an exciting growth and development period for Siemens Gamesa, you will be working in a varied and challenging environment. As such, you will need to be able to influence and leverage internal networks to ensure as an organization we remain focused on delivering value and to provide top notch quality.

How to Contribute to Our Vision

We are looking for someone with impeccable emotional intelligence that knows how to read the room and can create close bonds within our region. To use and optimize your advanced interpersonal skills to the max, we want you to be responsible for the following tasks:

  • You will define and ensure implementation of and alignment with EHS related vision, strategy, policies, and guidelines.
  • To govern Environmental Protection, Health Management and (or) Safety for the assigned organizational area.
  • Together with the Head of EQS Service NEME, you will take the final decision on EHS related budgets and allocate respective resources.
  • To control implementation of EHS programs for the assigned area or across NEME when required.
  • You will ensure implementation of EHS Management Systems for the assigned area.
  • To occasionally represent EHS interests in external organizations and institutions, in discussion with authorities, government bodies etc.
  • You will provide EHS expertise to support the Corporate Executive Board and/or Management Board of the assigned area in EHS-relevant decisions.
  • To be an active Head of our organization within your assigned area, and to lead all related management and staff.

What You Need to Make a Difference

A passion for building relationships with people, a real desire to seek out and drive improvements. We can’t stress enough how important it is for you to have a great sense of emotional intelligence. We are not just looking for a leader. We are looking for a person that loves to interact with both colleagues and clients on a personal level across our region and beyond.

You need to have relevant QM/HSE education such as a Nebosh Diploma or a relevant EHS degree. Your educational background is in Technical / Quality / Safety education at degree level or above. A minimum of 5 years of managerial experience. Willingness to travel. First and foremost, we want you to be a familiar face within our region, but we also expect that you will actively assist our other regions if needed. As a person, you are hands on. You take charge of a situation when needed. You are no stranger to giving presentations. You are comfortable in front of a crowd and are an enigmatic speaker. A fluency in English and with a secondary desire for competency in either Swedish, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian or Lithuanian. A deep passion for renewable energy and the transition to a renewable future whilst recognizing that the transition is happening in and around standard commercially driven ecosystems. You ideally have previous experience within our industry.

In Return of Your Commitment, We Offer You...
