Head of Energo

E.ON Energy Solutions is a 100% subsidiary of E.ON Energie. We focus on comprehensive energy solutions for large companies, cities and municipalities. We have many years of experience in the areas of e-mobility, lighting, photovoltaics, cogeneration units and HVAC - BEMS. We also operate our own hydro and photovoltaic power plants and thermal management systems. The Mydlovary heating plant, where we generate electricity and heat from natural gas and biomass, is part of E.ON Energy Solutions.

We are looking for a new team leader to join our Energo department. You will be responsible for development in the field of operation and management of resources (hydroelectric power plants, heating plants, cogeneration units, battery storage, gas boilers, photovoltaics, etc.). This segment is part of E.ON Energy Solutions s.r.o., a subsidiary of E.ON Energie. You will work closely with E.ON Energie and especially with the Energy solutions team which provides comprehensive energy-saving solutions also in the form of PPA or EPC and not only for our commodity customers. Join us in Brno, České Budějovice or Prague.

In this role you will

• We entrust you with responsibility for production, operations management, planning and optimization.
• You will be responsible for the P&L and development of the department with approx. 40 colleagues.
• Your responsibilities will include strategic direction of the team in line with the central team.
• We expect you to use your know-how in your assigned area to lead key projects, product portfolio and selecting appropriate solutions and subcontractors.
• You will be expected to have direct contact and maintain good relationships with leaders of the company's support departments.
• You can look forward to monitoring the market in your assigned area, innovation, digital development and resource optimization.
• Last but not least, you will be responsible for reporting the assigned KPIs directly to the management in the Czech Republic and the central team in Germany.

What we expect from you?

• You have a university degree in a technical field.
• You have work experience in the energy sector.
• You have experience in production operations, including HSE knowledge.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are among your strengths.
• Advanced proficiency in English is a must.
• You are an active driver and do not mind travelling on business.
