Treasury Business Partner

NKT works to connect a greener world as a key enabler of the green transition and electrification of society. As our new Treasury Business Partner you will become part of a Treasury team of 10 highly skilled treasures, with four different nationalities represented who are responsible for all activities related to funding, currency risk, commodity risk, interest rate risk, liquidity risk, credit risk, trade finance and cash management.

The position is based in our Head Office in Brøndby.

You collaborate and use your stakeholder management skills

You will be responsible for understanding, measuring, managing, and reporting on financial risks across all business lines to ensure that potential risks are identified and addressed proactively. You will be instrumental in providing support to the business and Treasury Front Office regarding financial risk, offering expertise and advice. By advancing and enhancing the understanding of commodity and currency risk across our organization, you will enable business units to make informed decisions that support sustainable growth with stakeholders from all organizational levels in multiple countries.

Additionally, you will

• develop policies and 'play books' for managing financial risk tailored to each business line's needs
• Identify, collect and analyze business exposure data
• manage internal hedges, including deal capture and pricing of internal hedges
• ensure hedge accounting can be applied, test for hedge ineffectiveness and report on the financial impact of hedging activities
• be involved in risk analysis projects and participate in initiatives, e.g. new Treasury Management System and Metal Management
• develop and continuously improve our management reporting processes to provide actionable insights into financial risk management
• ensure compliance with legal regulations and internal Treasury Policy, participating in monthly processes related to risk management and financial statement impact

You can stand your ground using your supportive mindset

You have a wide range of contacts both internally and externally. You collaborate closely with senior management on all topics related to financial risk management, exposure management, intercompany hedging, liquidity management and hedge forecasting. You work with other finance teams and external banks, representing our interests and ensuring effective collaboration. You are comfortable working with large data sets and you can effectively convey complex matters in a simple way to different audiences.

Your CV also likely include:

• an academic background in economics, business, finance, or a related field,
• 2-5 years of experience within financial risk management, Group Treasury, Middle Office, Corporate Finance, or a similar role in a large corporate or financial institution.
• fluency in English both written and spoken
• advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint
• prior experience with Bloomberg and a TMS is desired but not required
