At LIQUIDLOOP, our vision is to accelerate research & innovation in green energy and chemistry technologies.
Our mission is to create the next-generation hardware for chemical technology processes, starting with electrochemical transformation of CO2 to multicarbon and CO2 capture. We aim to create hardware technology that provides the necessary tools to revolutionize power-to-x and carbon capture technologies through quick analysis and testing.
We currently focus on developing a laboratory research instrument for electrochemistry, a field that will enable energy transition and shift from use of fossil fuels to green, sustainable fuels and chemicals coming from renewable energy sources.
LIQUIDLOOP team develops an all-encompassing hardware-software mass spectrometry analysis system, offering a real-time and precise chemical detection and identification of volatile liquid and gas products from a liquid, made possible by our patented “Product-to-Gas interface” technology.
History
LIQUIDLOOP technology reveals a unique approach for real-time chemical monitoring due to many years of development. Founded in 2021, LIQUIDLOOP is the first exclusive liquid real-time detection company focusing entirely on the carbon-neutral fuels research. In 2022 LIQUIDLOOP has set up the production of its first devices and delivered them to academic customers. As of today, the LIQUIDLOOP product portfolio counts already with four commercialised product devices.

Working field
We are looking for an ambitious, responsible, self initiative student that can support our activities in:
- Electronic Assembly (Low-Voltage) with various activities (wiring, soldering, making sockets etc.)
- Electronic and software tests for the assembled components.
- Documentation and drawing of electronic wiring.
- Creation and implementation of test protocols.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a Bachelor´s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry Engineering, Materials Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, with a focus on testing, analysis, production, and assembling.
- Curiosity in the design of new Manufacturing/Assembly for optimized device production.
- Knowledge and experience in mechanics, industrial production, hardware/software validation, testing, and chemical analysis.
- You have a creative and entrepreneurial spirit, are motivated to work in a successful start-up.
- You are diligent, well-organized, and fully committed to the project, a team player, ready to join a small team in a young company and grow together with us.
- You are at ease in written and oral communication in English.
- German level minimum A2, speaking German above B2 level is a big plus!

- Analytical and structured way of working in order to be able to communicate clearly even complex issues within an interdisciplinary team
Other
- Valid Work Permit for Germany, or able to obtain a permit
- Start date: as soon as possible
