Business Development Associate

The Business Development Associate will be responsible for leading and executing the implementation of the sales strategy, tracking the strategic growth, qualifying leads, developing a new business pipeline, and identifying merger and acquisition opportunities.
Qualifications
- 4-year degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Prefer 2-3 years experience in the renewable energy space or related field
- Be familiar with CRM tools including Salesforce
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Ability to work with multiple department leads
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion and manage sensitive information
- Communicates professionally, effectively, and timely (both oral and written)
- Self-motivated to complete tasks with ability to adapt well to quickly changing priorities
- Experience in RFP writing and management a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in cross functional leadership roles.
- Willingness to travel
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for the company
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and partners
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business development strategies
- Monitor industry trends and market conditions for the energy industry
- Manage client supplier portals
- Maintain CRM and keep up to date
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s products and services
- Assist in driving our key growth initiatives on target markets and service offerings
- Participate in relevant trade-shows and conferences
- Help in finding RFP’s, assist with response process, coordinate activities, and assist the proposal team with relevant activities
- Partner with marketing team to drive awareness of business capabilities
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of customer onboarding and support
