Job Description

We are currently seeking a Regional Construction Manager based in Alaska to lead our federal construction project teams responsible for implementing renewable energy projects.

Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Project, and Procore
- Scheduling experience using Primavera P-6 preferred
- Strong technical communication and presentation skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and foster positive business relationships
Responsibilities
- Provide daily administrative and technical management of construction projects delivering energy savings
- Partner with Engineering and Construction Team in project design and development
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for competitive cost and best schedule
- Manage vendors and subcontractors to ensure quality control and project delivery
- Provide ongoing project status updates throughout design and construction
- Evaluate technologies and equipment; recommend the most suitable for each application
- Lead project implementation of site safety and health plans, operations manuals, and training activities
- Provide project reports, documentation, and technical assistance
- Manage project teams and resources, including expenditures and job cost accounting
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, practices, codes
- Foster positive business relationships at all levels
- Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of eight (8) years of industrial power, electrical/solar, mechanical, or engineering construction project management experience
- Proven experience with OSHA safety standards and project management regulations
- Experience in managing complex facility infrastructure construction and energy services
