Skeleton's Cell Test, Systems & Simulation department is looking for a driven Cell Test Engineer (m/f/x) with the vision to match our ambition!
Skeleton Technologies is seeking an experienced Cell Test Engineer (m/f/x) to join our dynamic team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your insights will contribute directly to the success of the overall company! As a Cell Test Engineer (m/f/x) you will work in the area of development and product testing while you will be responsible for the performance, monitoring, analysis, and documentation of cell tests!
Our ultimate goal with Skeleton is to build a net zero future, and our role is to make sure the world is aware of how we can help save energy, cut fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, and enable the energy transition.
Your tasks in the net zero journey
- Conduct product-level R&D tests including connections of cells to the respective measurement machines, starting, running and supervising the test.
- Support with root cause analysis on cell level (mechanical cell assembly).
- Conduct development cell-level tests, including cell construction, and disassembly.
- Think of innovative ways how to build and improve test setups and fixtures.
- Analysis, documentation, and communication of the results.
- Interpretation of results based on basic electrochemical properties.
Requirements
- Apprenticeship / B.Sc. in the chemical or physical direction, preferable electrical engineering.
- Min. 2 years of professional experience in the related field.
- Excellent written and verbal English and min. basic German language skills. Estonian language skills are a plus.
- Experience in electrical (possibly even electrochemical) measurement methods and setups.
- Knowledge of electrochemical energy storage devices is a plus.
- You have a hands-on mentality.
- Experience with electrochemical measurement methods and the respective connections is a plus.
- You can write detailed reports and instructions about your findings.
- You feel confident in the field of electrochemistry, especially energy storage.
- You are a thorough and independent worker who can easily translate your line of thoughts to instructions.
- Excellent communication skills.
