Green Mountain Energy Company and NRG are hiring driven sales agents to work in the energy field! NRG, the nation’s largest energy supplier and Green Mountain Energy, the nation’s longest-serving renewable energy provider, are looking for dedicated sales people. Responsibilities
- Utilize core skills such as energy sales to promote renewable energy products effectively.
- Engage in negotiations with potential clients to secure sales and contracts.
- Provide exceptional customer service to address inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Utilize technical sales knowledge to explain the benefits of renewable energy solutions.
- Establish process for accomplishing goals.
- Keep regular communication with your manager about sales and progress towards your goals.
- Utilize public speaking skills to present information about renewable energy solutions to a diverse audience.
Minimum Qualifications
- Prior sales experience preferred
- Ability to engage consumers proactively
- Public speaking or presentation experience preferred
- Passionate about community focused projects and products
- Desire to proactively engage consumers about renewable energy
- Honesty and reliability are a must
- Can work independently and with a team
- Personal vehicle for transportation preferred.
Note: This is NOT door to door sales (D2D) or telephone sales (Cold Calling). This is a W2 employment opportunity with NRG Energy Inc/Green Mountain Energy.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20-$35 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
