Operations Manager (m/w/d)

BayWa r.e. Nordic AB as a company provides technical expertise as well as guidance throughout the whole phase for the implementation of renewable energy projects. We work with greenfield and site securing, the permit application and approval process, layout optimization and construction as well as construction and operation.

BayWa r.e. Scandinavia AB is part of the BayWa r.e. Nordic AB based in Malmö, Sweden and offers a full range of services for operation of wind farms. We use state-of-the-art data management and monitoring to ensure high yields and availability as well as setting industry standards. Among our customers are international investment companies and energy companies.

We are looking for our next colleague, an Asset Operations Manager.

What You Will Do

• You will be responsible for some of the wind farms under our management
• In your role, you will for example:
  • be running monthly operations meetings with both customers and service suppliers in cooperation with other support functions.
  • calculate and analyze technical operational results per wind farm (customer)
  • manage analysis and documentation of technical operational disruptions
  • contribute to the development of analysis tools to evaluate performance of the wind farms under our management.
  • contribute to enhancing our work process, internal tools & templates.
• You will be reporting to our head of asset operations

What You Bring

• You have a relevant degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or similar technical background
• You have some years of relevant work experience, preferably within the maintenance of renewable energy assets, high voltage power grid or IT/Digitalization
• You are self-motivated and team oriented
• Organized and structured
• Curious and enthusiastic
• General technical and financial interest
• Excellent Swedish and English communication skills, both written and spoken
• Working with the MicroSoft Office proves no challenge for you and you are especially fluent in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Experience of SCADA systems as interface to the assets would be beneficial
• We believe you are very interested in the on-going energy transition and would appreciate international experience in a multi-cultural environment
• Driving license class B
• Knowledge and experience within the area of data communication would be beneficial
• Knowledge and experience within the area of High Voltage grid would be beneficial
• GWO certificate would be beneficial
