Responsibilities

• You will be entirely accountable for the assigned project, overseeing aspects such as time, finances, quality, and scope. This includes engaging in activities relevant to design for cost, manufacturing, and quality.
• Your responsibility extends to meeting the KPIs/targets established for the project.
• Proactively managing changes on the assigned projects.
• You will lead your projects and team comprehensively across our various sites and the organization, ensuring that we are perceived as a proactive and competent partner in the eyes of the customer.
• Guaranteeing a smooth transition from project development to production, ensuring the product reaches the right level of maturity when handed over to NPI and/or Operations, is part of your responsibilities.
• You will ensure effective information flow by leveraging excellent communication skills.
• In the capacity of a coach, you will utilize your leadership skills to build and lead the project team, manage conflicts, and foster cultural awareness within the team.
• Your approach is hands-on, reflecting your active involvement in the tasks at hand.

Our requirements

• As an individual and a project manager, you possess the ability to inspire project team members and collaborate across the entire organization. Your proficiency in staying on top of project plans allows you to identify risks and seize opportunities that propel the project forward within the defined scope. With a robust drive and excellent communication skills, you are poised to present projects and provide project status updates to both management and the customer, ensuring alignment with the common agenda.
• Additionally, we envision that you:
  • Hold a relevant technical background, such as an electrical or mechanical engineer, or a similar field.
  • Bring at least 2 years of project management experience, ideally in a Project Manager role.
  • Possess project management education, preferably complemented by a certification such as IPMA, PMI, or a similar qualification—an added advantage.
  • Demonstrate experience in product development and NPI, along with proficiency in developing processes and tools—an advantageous skill set.
  • Have a track record of driving projects using a development model like Stage Gate; experience with an agile development model is a definite plus.
  • Are fluent in English.
