Your week will span three perspectives:
- Customer & Market Intelligence
- Engage directly with C&I customers to understand challenges and validate portfolio relevance
- Gather market and competitor intelligence to keep Siemens sharp and ahead of the curve
- Monitor AI and emerging technologies and translate relevant trends into actionable recommendations for portfolio and Go-to-Market strategy
- Explore and pilot new business models that go beyond today's existing portfolio
- Strategy & Portfolio
- Define and align the Go-to-Market strategy for ONE Tech Company Energy Management
- Create and maintain a clear portfolio overview of energy management offerings across Siemens
- Identify technical synergies and provide guidance on future portfolio developments
- Execution & Alignment
- Drive joint Go-to-Market initiatives across Smart Infrastructure, Digital Industries and other Siemens businesses
- Navigate and align stakeholders across multiple businesses, building consensus in complexity
- Develop the right setup for a horizontal Energy Management sales approach
What you should be able to do. So that the world can do more.
- Education
- Master's degree in electrical engineering, business administration, digital business management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience & Skills
- Longterm experience managing a diverse portfolio of hardware, software, and digital services, with a proven track record in developing and selling digital services within a B2B environment.
- Understanding of market trends and offerings in commercial and industrial energy solutions, microgrids, and energy efficiency. Demonstrated ability to define and execute successful Go-to-Market strategies.
- Awareness of how AI and emerging technologies are reshaping energy management, with the ability to translate these trends into portfolio and Go-to-Market decisions.
- Experience applying AI-driven insights to portfolio strategy or Go-to-Market planning is a strong differentiator.
- Ability to identify and pursue opportunities beyond existing portfolio boundaries, transforming market insights into actionable initiatives.
- Ways of working
- Proven experience working across multiple businesses or divisions, building bridges, driving alignment, and thriving in interdisciplinary teams with global colleagues and customers.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments, bringing structure, driving clarity, and moving forward proactively. You take initiative, contribute your own ideas, and aren't afraid to put them into practice.
- Long-term experience within large corporations is a plus.
- Languages: Fluent in English and conversational in German; additional languages are a plus.
