Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Performance Analyst to develop our future Product and Engineering department's data-driven quality performance KPIs. This role will focus on designing and implementing automated quality metrics to track, monitor and improve design and product performance across project developments and product maintenance activities.
As a key link between engineering execution and quality assurance, you will play a critical role in ensuring that quality insights are measurable, actionable, and aligned with our business division acceptance criteria and goals.
You will be joining a small dedicated team with the opportunity to have a significant impact on the future Quality Assurance within an Engineering department handling +50 development projects and +80 products simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain automated dashboards/KPIs and performance metrics within the Product and Engineering department of Power and Controls.
- Establish standardized methods for data collection, validation, and visualization across multiple systems.
- Identify gaps and build bridges between engineering activities, data flows, and business reporting needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and and refine data input and collection towards automated and structured frameworks
- Extract and create bi-weekly reporting content to act as basis for quality improvements, opportunities and support evidence-based decision-making
Our requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of quality metrics in an engineering or product development environment.
- Proven experience with data systems, analytics tools, and performance measurement.
- Proven experience and knowledge within AI tools and usage within engineering activities
- Proficiency in tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or Python for data analysis and visualization.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Self-driven, proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and identify improvement opportunities.
- Experience within engineering activity processes and stage/gate model deliverables.
- Fluent in English, oral and written
